Howdy out there in LL,

I have had been having such a wacky schedule that I haven't had any time to post these past few weeks.
Alex is doing well (unjinx unjinx) except for some problems with his back legs (he can't seem to keep them out of the way when he uses to the litter box which can be messy but I guess cleaning him off is part of my job) His favorite new place seems to be the cubes which he snubbed his little nose at when I first got then home. I seem to lose him 5 times a day and every time I do he's sleeping in one of the cubes and I keep forgetting that! ohmygod_smile

He's been wearing his purry pants a lot lately and I'm hoping that won't change any time soon. His numbers could be better but that's partially my fault because sometimes my schedule tens to throw him off and I feel just rotten ...but thank goodness he seems to be thriving in spite of me.

Alex and Jackson are both going for blood work on Wednesday to see what needs adjusting nailbite_smile

They both had fairly large breffises(Alex has a little upset belly...he still had bouts of diarrhea), but other than that..all p's are in order, and they are taking their morning naps.

Have a great Caturday everyone!

I was wondering where you'd gotten to. My guys LOVE their cubes. I'm glad Alex realized the error of his ways.

Hi C...

Yeah we're still here :-D

He is realizing the error of his ways daily..every several hours. He LOVES the cubes. He rearranges them and then goes to sleep. Not so much a play thing for Alex but his alone space...even if he knows I know where he is. Jackson has always liked them but now Alex uses them more.(which is probably why Jackson doesn't and Alex does if that made any sense. Alex has always picked up on what Jackson likes-this is why I have two kitties that use wee wee pads  - even if it takes a little while...but now it seems to bug Jackson a little bit)

Those things are GREAT!

I want one

Hey Ronnie...

Yes that's the dealio with Alex too. The neuropathy :YMSIGH:

Now that he insists on using wee wee pads because Jackson likes them...it can get very wet (actually he uses litter too ..he is equal opportunity pan user)....and when I see Alex REALLY dragging his back legs I know his feet are all wet and so must be at least one of his legs. He also hates when I clean him off but we're coming to an understanding. This happened last week when he had loose stools and I had a talk with him about how no one likes a stinky boy. So he's sitting better for the clean up now.

I went food shopping for them just now at a very nice Pet Mart and picked up "Perfect Coat" Deodorizing Bath Wipes for cats (24 in a dispenser like baby wipes). It's alcohol free and safe for them and their coats and I was assured that they were safe for their delicate tushie's as well...we shall see

Ah what we don't do for our babies cat_pet_icon
