and that's all I tested. I slept.

I did not give J.D. his 1st Breffis in bed, and so he has not eaten yet. I show him that his food is in his bowl, in his feeling station area, and sometimes, he acts like he's blind, mostly deaf, and doesn't smell. I think he ate plenty overnight, so I'm not concerned. And because I just caught him trying to chew on a houseplant (I yelled at him, which he heard fine), I just gave him some bits of steak which he happily ate. I am waiting for some cat grass to grow in a pot, it's about 3/4 inch tall right now.

Oh, it's a Caturday morning battle of wills! :lol: I wonder who will win?

It is a battle of wills. He still hasn't eaten his food. After the steak bits, I tried to give him his Breffis in bed and he didn't want it. I even tried picking up a piece and finger feeding him.. no go. A bit later, I threw freeze dried salmon treats across the floor in the living room. J.D. and Ginger are so different. J.D. runs after the first piece he sees and chomps down. Ginger waits and studies the outlay of all the treats, and plans her stategy (everytime, it takes a couple or 3 seconds), and then she goes for one where her body will hide the most amount of treats from J.D. Are all calicos like this?

J.D. won. At plus 2, I sprinkled some freeze dried salmon on top of his 1st Breffis that is now 2 hours old, and he ate it all up and then went over to see if Ginger had anything left in her bowl.

J.D. knows how to play you, doesn't he?!! And yes, I think all calicos are like yours. My Cleo, the calico, does the same thing with her treats!
