He is coming down fast from this bounce but I increased him anyway. He moved a bit during the shot so he could have gotten a partial fur shot although I couldnt smell anything after.

Seems in a good mood.. 4/5Ps are in place ( he doesnt purr anyway)

eep! Ok now what? I am pretty sure that 43 isnt from the new dose since we just started this morning due to the depot. Lets see what he does but if he drops under 40 I am not sure what dose to take him down to.

if you increase at the same time a bounce is clearing, that can give them extra momentum. He may or may not have dropped this far just on the 6.75. You'll need to decide based on your ability to monitor - ride the edge and give the higher dose a try, or reduce and wait a bit longer on the 6.75.

at +3.5 I gave some LC. at +4 he was still 38 so I gave some a drip of karo. Fun.

Ok this isnt fun. Usually HC will bring him up - its barely keeping him surfing. So I increased the number of drops.

Hi Wendy, I hope Tiggy will bring it up a bit so you can have a day that doesn't involve poking him. :lol: Odd that he doesn't purr.

One thing I thought I'd mention, and I know you don't know if Tiggy is an acrocat or not, but acros have a working pancreas which can start to work at the most inconvenient of times. I have given Neko some LC (as part of a mini meal) when she is lowish and her pancreas kicked in and sent her down too low. As a result, I only use higher carb food when I'm trying to bring her up or have to add some gravy to her regular mini meal if she is going low early in the cycle. Summary, giving LC to get an acro to surf may not work. I see you are using karo now, hope that works soon.

That could be it. Usually the LC is good enough so this is definitely odd behaviour for him. He isn't showing any hypo signs yet though and is sitting beside me all bright eyed because he loves syrup and is hoping for more.

He used to purr so much the vet called him the purr machine but around age two, once he had passed puberty, he just stopped. We didnt notice an exact date except that one day we realized he didn't do It any more. That was years ago. He is still obviously happy though so no idea why he doesn't purr.

He is up to 59. The syrup is kicking in.

I havent been posting every number but I am fighting his BG here. karo is king. Gotta start bouncing soon hasnt he?

Well at least its during the day which is unusual. And that DH isnt managing or we;d be in trouble.

Today has been fun..+10 is now 56. He has been trying to have a hypo all day but mamabean is having none of it. I think it's a sneaky plan because he loves the HC.

Nice job handling the numbers. I guess Tiggy wanted no part of that dose increase.

Holy cow, what a day you had :o I hope that Tiggy decides to stay in the safe numbers tonight so you can get some sleep.
