Yesterday's Condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7093

Domino -- numbers are still bouncing a little from the lows this weekend. Sorry Libby, I didn't see your post from yesterday until after I had given his shot this morning. I guess I should have stayed with 1.5u - it's just so hard not to give a little more insulin when numbers are high. His pre-shot numbers are coming down some, so I will reassess where his numbers are this afternoon when I get home from work and decide whether to stick with 1.75 or drop to 1.5 for a few days. Domino is generally doing great, eating, playing, sleeping and cuddling -- what a life!

Puff -- same old, same old pinks and yellows, but after this weekend I am more hopeful for lower numbers than I was before. He sure did take his time about giving those blues! Maybe he won't take as long to show some more. I plan to keep him at the 3.25 for a couple more days, then increase to 3.5 if numbers don't improve. Overall Puff is a really sweet kitty who loves to eat (he is a little overweight) and purr. In the last few days he has seemed to have a little trouble climbing stairs, so I think I am going to try him on the Methyl-B12 and see if that helps. I think it could also be arthritis. Any ideas what I could give him if that is the case?

Ronnie, thanks for your reply yesterday. I can always count on hearing from you!

Hey Connie,
hope Domino stops bouncing around soon bcatrun_gif lol
but sounds like he's a happy kitty never the less!

You may want to cross post in Health about more info and suggestion on what may be buggin Puff
I know there are several threads on neuropathy in both health forums.
how is he having trouble climbing stairs?
have you received any input from ur vet about it?

Hope ur doing well, and having a good nite.

Hi Ronnie!

I haven't talked to the vet about Puff yet. I've only noticed it the past couple of days. He seems to have trouble with his back right leg. He is not walking on his hocks though -- he is still on his toes. That's why I thought it might be arthritis.
