Bounce from yesterday's big drop, I expect.
Boomer left almost an entire serving of food last night, although I did have to add a few chunks of higher carb ff to his +3 to get him to eat it.
Busy day for the Beans today with many errands needing to be done since there is yet another freezing rain warning out for tonight/tomorrow. At least there is no one working on our ensuite today; Boomer has freedom and we have our house to ourselves. We decided to have the attached bedroom painted by the contractor instead of doing it ourselves after the ensuite is done; so that will be happening next week as well.
DH is over the halfway mark in his treatments and he's doing well. I go with him as often as I can but Boomer and/or the contractors have held me back a few times.
Yesterday I got out in the morning; it was beautiful! Lots of birds were out, the cardinals were singing, a flock of 10-12 Blue Jays were flying around, the chickadees were landing on my hand to pick up seed; the nuthatches landed a couple of times but were nervous and fluttered off before picking up a treat. Mrs. Horned Owl was (barely) visible in her nest but I did find Mr. Horned Owl in a nearby tree. And as I stood watching the nest, two Canada Geese flew up into the tree
I've only ever seen a Canada Goose fly up into a tree once before, it's certainly not common for them to do so. Haven't had time to review/edit the shots I got yesterday...when I got home from my walk the contractor had just left for the day. YAY! And it gave DH and I the opportunity to go out together to pick out new towels etc for the ensuite.
