Good Morning Everyone !
Hope you are having a great weekend !
Salems doing great . But not as great as I wanted since I was late twice in one week . Oh well things happen we will get back on track soon .
Has anyone checked out my sugr ? It Seems to be a really nice company and a great app . It has lots of things you can do within the app itself . Plus print reports and export your data . I have been playing with it . I wanta the lancer that's called fast clik it was $17 Alone but the store has the whole kit meter and lancer for $14 something with tax it was still cheaper plus I been curious about acc- chek guise me . So I went and got it . I had to buy strips and lancets. Yes it was extra oh well they got more money out of me but it seems to be a great meter and lancer . I spoke with my sugr they seem to be very supportive and I’m not a customer yet of their my bundle . I may try it . It’s got really good reviews .

Sending prayers to everyone . I will be a little busy today but I will be checking in . My niece is having her wedding shower ! They put off the wedding from March to April so I got longer to figure out a plan for salems care . I think he will be going to the mountains lol .

Yes There’s a website : it’s got a lot of great things ..
You dnt have to order your strips they have a system that keeps up with it as ling as you sync your test results they will come . It keeps up with how many times you test . It comes with a kit with 250 strips 102 lancets a lancer .
I think it’s neat instead of a bag to oyt your things ib it’s got a hard plastic box where you place yiu things in it . The strip boxes keep all the strips up in a roll so they are not easily to fall out . You just pull them out one at a time . the meter automatically syncs when you test you hear the little monster laugh when it syncs . You got much much stuff you can put in it like your ketones , your insulin’s, your units etc much more your mood , emotions your daily activity , your carbs .m, etc it has a very detailed lig manual inside the app . It has a chat fir support and a coach . It keeps up with how many strips you have and how many you have used including error strips they count them in too . If you use less you receive less if you use more you get more strips . It’s pretty neat very detailed .
Discount points , challenges etc .. check it out .. I sound like a commerical . Lol download the app on apple store or google store but remember it’s spelled my sugr without the a in sugar .

It looks like another subscription based service - unlimited strips for $49 a month ... a competitor for OneDrop no doubt.

It also looks as if it's for hoomans...just something to keep in mind if you decide to sign up...I wouldn't volunteer that your intent is to use it on a non-hooman...

LOL - I doubt that I could ever track Luci's emotions or moods...something like grumpy and not grumpy? Playful....that made me giggle...:p

Oh yes definitely not mentioning that . I saw that for humans ! Lol ... what about kitties lol .. oh well maybe one day something like this will be for kitties or doggies ! I will not use the coach lol . Or put in his name or mention I’m 22 lbs lol . It does say you can connect two meters . I thought since I’m sometimes check my sugar cause I use to have low sugar when I was younger I could use it for me also. For preventive . I’m worried i could be diabetic also it’s on both sides of my family . I’m heading towards pre/diabetic . I have all the signs . My sugar since I’m older is higher now . I know there’s different diabetes mine use to be the hypo kind now it’s changed. Any diabetes is bad but high sugar is better than low it’s harder to bring sugar up than bring it down .

Yes, definitely don't get into any discussions with them about 'your' weight (22 lbs) LOL! or anything else for that matter....

However, IF you have to start using the system (I sure hope you can avoid going down that road...diabetes is a terrible disease - more so in humans as there is no cure, no remission, like for cats) I'll pray that you can take good care of yourself through diet and exercise and avoid diabetes if at all possible...horrible disease :(

I just got a laugh out of the visual you created in my head about trying to discuss Luci's emotions, moods, what have you with a coach or someone on the chat...I could hear it now...well, I used the litter box this morning and had litter stuck to my feet and that made me mad...so then I went over and puked on the rug by the door...mom was not feeding me so I was watching her closely waiting for her to come and get me for my test so that I could have my breakfast and when she did I hid under the dining room table because I know it's hard for her to reach me under there...and on it went...OMG :joyful::joyful::joyful:

Because I laughed so hard !!! And cried ! I couldn’t see the words on the board anymore . So hilarious !!! Thank you I needed that laugh !!! That was so good !!! Oh boy !! What a Laugh ! Thanks !!! I’m crying from joy and laughter ! Lol lmao !
 
Well looks like I’m going to increase a little tomorrow to get him back down his almost at 300 I cnt have that he will go DKA on me ! Just a few drops more than 2 units a fat 2 units like @Sue and Luci say a skinny 2 . Let’s go 2F . Dnt wanna increase too much since he was in between 1.75 units and 2 units . Just to get him back down . I guess instead of filling the plunger on the 2 unit line let’s draw up under the 2 unit line right under the mark .
 
He’s sugar is 316 ! I haven’t seen that number since I start insulin in November ! Wow ! Increase Salem ! No DkA !!!
 
He’s at 316 . I just went ahead I know I should wait until a new day but I went ahead did the 2F . Boy I hate this . I am so ashamed if I had not been late those three different days he would be ok . Dag Tina bad mommie !!! Bad Bad !!! :oops::rolleyes:
