Good morning. I shot a BCS dose of 1.25 units because of the dropping BG and I will not be home to monitor.
J.D. ate his first breffis, and is currently taking a bath in his bed.

Last night at midnight, I got up to freeze some food for today, and I froze 2 cans of 3% and 1 can of 5% FF. I think I will leave it all out. Usually I leave out 1 or 2 cans and it's not eaten when I get home, but occasionally it is. I choose to be safe today.

154 is an hour after eating, so no food spike. I just fed their 2nd breffis.
Luckily at the moment, I have my shot schedule about 1/2 earlier than normal, so will almost be able to get a +2 before leaving for the day.

Up 10 points 30 minutes after his 2nd breffis. He is now sampling all the frozen FF popsicles. :-D

Dagnabbit. He's trying to eat these frozen FFs like crazy. I'll throw down some MC, then I am out the door.

Good morning guys ... nice surf so far today J.D. .. since your beanz has to leave why don't you go ahead and surf all day with no surprises .. no one would be there to see them anyways so why bother? have a great day guys!

Hi Dyana and J.D. just stopping by to say hi. I noticed you are feeding J.D. the FF popsicles. I've been meaning to go buy an ice tray so I can make some for Choco. Do yo just put the food in the trays or do you have to add water? Also, what does MC mean? Is it medium carb food? I hope you will be able to get home to J.D. soon. Hi Maria. I use these Rubbermaid 1/2 cup containers. I can put 1 can of FF and about 1/2 can of water in each. I mix up the water and FF a little (not a lot) and then freeze them. I usually "do the cat's lunches" and freeze about 10 at a time, but I've been slacking lately.
MC is supposed to mean Medium Carb. I actually gave J.D. 1/2 can of 8% FF which he sucked up as I was walking out the door. I think normally, LC is anything under 10% carbs, and HC is 15% and over, so MC would be between 10% and 15%...like mixing LC and HC together. The 8% J.D. got this morning, is not something he ever gets. Normally, he gets from 0% to 3% only. So, to us, 8% was MC, today :-D Sorry, If I'm I being too confusing?

Yes, he did okay. Although he was sleeping when I came home from work (even though DBF was here), and didn't come to greet me when I walked in. I had to go get him up from the bed to test, shoot, and feed him. Then he went back to bed. :roll:
I was so worried all day, because he had a dropping number this morning, and I could barely get it to stay up with food, and J.D. wasn't making it any easier by frantically going back and forth licking the FF popsicles in the bowls, from one to the other and back and forth. I finally gave him a bunch (twice his normal meal amount) of MC and prayed when I got to work.

I finally took the fat off his dose tonight, and am hoping for less dramatics.

We just returned from a little walk out in the cold. The cats ate their second dinner, and it is time to hit the hay.
Stress be gone :-D !
 
Thanks Dyana. I will try the Rubbermaid containers and see how Choco likes the popsicles. I'm glad to hear J.D. was okay when you got home. You all have a good and relaxing night. :razz:
