what do I do about baileys dosing on mon night? as you all know I know give bailey his insulin at 12am/pm every day but hes going in for sedation on Tuesday to have a biospsy on this horrid fatty lump on his scruff. do I redude by half?? im worried with him dropping so low and going that dosing scale so fast.

who would've thought he be on so little insulin when he was n 9.5 units 4 months ago?!! hes doing so good I so hope its not bad news tue. we all thought he was a high dose kitty........................not anymore!!! my clever boy!!

Can you find out what medication is going to be given to Bailey for his sedation? It could be sedation instead of anethesia. Also, some of the new anesthesia drugs don't lower the blood glucose. I think if you lowered to half dose he should be fine.

I wonder if Bailey had a bit of insulin auto-antibodies going on to make him need a high dose. I know you can't get it tested for in England. It's a condition that is self limiting and can go away after a year or so (though for Neko it was 9 months). Great to see him back in green again today. :D
