On the bottle it says give 1/2 tablet by mouth twice daily for 10 days. They are 25mg tablets they said it was based on his weight? He weighs 15.11lbs down from 17lbs since October.

I can change it if it says once a day, my vet is not all there. There's 9 pills left now, it would be much easier to do one a day.

That dose should be fine for him since it’s 1.25 to 2.5 mg per lb. of body weight. Yes. Once a day would be so much easier. How is he doing? Maybe the vet thought splitting the pills would make them smaller and therefore easier to give to Panzer? I have taken the tablets and split them in half before and then used two pill pockets and given the whole dose at one time, but in two different pill pockets - I wanted to make sure my kitty would not taste the pills.
 
Ok yeah when I Googled it last night, I saw the different mgs. He's doing good so far no side effects, he's only had 2 doses though,his 3rd dose is in 30mins. He's being aunry as usual Lol always trying to get my food. I was eating a chip last night & he smacked it out of my hand & we both dove for it, I won no chip for Panzer :smuggrin:
