? 02.16.2020 Nelli AMPS 167 +2.5 58

I’m confused in/with seeing this 167 this morning o_O
I have been testing her, not everyday but often (see SS Jan through today)?
She has been :otj: as of December 12.
Three times since :otj: she has shown 117, 119 and 121.

Confused as to how I need to respond- jumping up to 167 but then down 2.5 hours later to 58.

I'd just keep an eye on her numbers. Since she brought her numbers back down today I don't think you need to worry about restarting insulin. If her numbers start creeping up and she doesn't bring herself back down to green you may need to. Hopefully not. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

That kinda what I was thinking :). Was unsure, God knows I don’t want to cause anymore problems for her :cat: :kiss:

Hi Krystina, glad to see Nelli is doing well. You did mention yesterday that she has been getting kibble. Might be worth paying closer attention, as perhaps that may be contributing to some higher numbers you are seeing.

I am keeping an eye on her increased diet of Farmina Digest. Thanks for your concern :).
Only reason she is getting about 1|3 to 1|2 cup kibbles per day is-

FROM 2/14 post (valentines day)...

She has early stage III CKD, one of the most important things I’ve learned is that a kitty has to, has to eat no matter what it is they eat.
Darwin Intelligent Design (kidney)low in P, over last couple weeks is clearly bothering her stomach when she eats it :blackeye: to extent she will not touch anymore :(.
In order to get her to eat Ive been feeding about 1/3 cup dry Farmina Digestion Kibble‘s in about 1/4 cup raw goats milk. Feline Natural Chicken & Lamb Feast Grain-Free Freeze-Dried in raw goat milk. :bighug: Raw filet mignon (yummy, mommy! :cat:). Raw chix thighs.
This makes up her daily diet. BG numbers have not been affected!? :bighug: :cat: :bighug:​
This was as of two days ago :-|
167 AMPS today is a real concern :nailbiting:.
Hope, hope, HoPiNg she doesn't often/ consistently go any higher. If so she will be back :otj: :(.

Regarding what she eats, I am most concerned, about her phosphate and creatine levels; Stage 111 CKD. I have contacted Farmina and Feline Natural companies today asking about guaranteed analysis of phosphorus in food type she eats.
I do see on Farmina website that dry she is eating, phosphorus guaranteed analysis (GA) value is “(min) 0.09“ but/then - ash (max): 7.90% :woot:.
I expect to get clarity from them tomorrow.
