If there was any action last night I missed it. Silly MumBean is so used to setting the alarm for stupid o'clock in the morning that I set it for 11.55am instead of pm :oops: I had a great sleep though. I went to bed early in case of impending action and slept through until just after 3am when he woke me with his gorgeous purrylicious cuddles. That was 5 1/2 hours of consecutive sleep, the most I've had since we started on the insulin. I don't think I missed anything anyway, recap:

I think the hawk will have gone already. He usually only hangs around a couple of days. Everyone he'd like to make a meal of knows he's there by then and I think he needs the element of surprise on his side. Then he nicks off for a couple of months so we all forget about him. Guard patrol will remain vigilant though, poor Meg it means she'll get a bit less outside time than she's used to but better that than...

Awww Rusty I'd love to be your valentine (don't tell Vyktor) but you shouldn't call me Auntie in the same sentence cause that makes it sound weird :lol: :lol: :lol:

Serryn, I almost did the same thing last night too! I am so sleep deprived, its hard to even set an alarm properly! At least I'm getting Daphne's number right (I think)!

Awww Meg is gorgeous. Glad you got some uninterrupted sleep! I hate it when I set the clock for pm instead of am!

Yep, sometimes sleep is so totally necessary. Believe me, a year later, and I feel the toll the "broken sleep" has taken on me...but, I wouldn't do it any other way.

Meg is so sweet...I can just envision her binking aroud your yard! I'd love to see her and Vyktor together!!!

I've lost track of what time it is over there, so enjoy your day/evening/sleep...whichever is most appropriate!

Five and a half hours sleep! I swear LL is inhabited by zombies! It's a wonder any of us can function at all! I hope Vyktor breaks his bounce, but maybe he could hang out blue for awhile and let you get some sleep.

Meg is just the sweetest!

How cute would that picture be, of Vyktor and Meg together. :-D She's beautiful!! :-D

When a hawk circles, or worse, settles on a telephone pole, or a tree near a bird feeder here, I'm scared to go out, for fear the little ones will fly up and get snatched.
I know the hawk.....in my case, RedTailed, has to eat, but not at my chickadee smorgasboard.

Hi guys .. glad you got some sleep! I remember all the nights of interrupted sleep to test and feed and always told peter that if mocha ever went OTJ, we'd sleep straight for a week! Hope vyktor continues coming down for you ..
