02/15 MISSY PMPS 225, +2 218, +4 157,

You have all of it right. :-)

Last night's cycle was the bounce breaking cycle and hence the extra downward momentum and the later nadir.

Today should hopefully be a more gentle cycle. As the cycle progresses she should need less carbs to keep her over 50 or get her over 50 if she dips below it.

Elise will be around as will a lot of others from the US. Just modify your title and tag a few of them. You will do just fine. :-)

Ok perfect...I'm glad I got it right...huummm I wonder how I learned all this
I will tag Elise if I need help...
Thank you also for explaining what happened last night. I've heard about this and it makes a lot of sense how you've explained it. Hopefully she will enjoy her day at the LAGOON :D

I just discovered I can actually give back to this wonderful organization.... I have just become a monthly donor. You all warm my heart (especially you Bhooma :joyful:) with your dedication, patience and love you show and share to me and my sweet girl.
I feel like today I earned another valuable piece of knowledge. Thank you for being there and walking me through it every step of the way.
Wish I could give you a real HUG but these will have to do.... Sleep Tight my friend... chat tomorrow :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Everyone...
Missy at PMPS is 12.5. A little bounce I think...not too bad for spending 14 consecutive hours at the LAGOON :D

I was going to feed LC meal at PMPS and +1. Sound good? Test +2?
:)

Hopefully a bounce or a less exciting cycle so that you can catch up on sleep!

Excellent!
Yes that would be nice... I hope you slept well :):coffee:

Hey Bhooma... I wanted to ask you... I've been using the ONE TOUCH BG meter. The cost of strips is ridiculous. Its .85 cents per strip and you can imagine how many I use in a day on some days. So its costing several hundred dollars a month just for strips. I ordered the BRAVO meter. Strips are half the cost. It arrived today. I was thinking of testing the meters side by side for a cycle or two just to compare the readings so I can be confident when I switch over. What do you think of this idea? If you think its necessary I was wondering if you could add a column on my SS so I can put the BRAVO reading in it. Or should I just put it in the remarks. That's what I have been doing so far today the last few tests. I happy to report the readings are pretty close. :)

Yes! For a change Budge and Bandit were pretty quiet and let me sleep! :-)

No need to test meters side by side. Just switch to the Bravo. Make note in your comments that you have switched.

Awe Budge... I love that name :joyful: I'm glad you got some sleep.
Boy? Girl? Another sweetheart I am sure....
I have 3 cats in total. Charlie is the oldest he's 14. Frank... is 13 and Missy is 10. She is by far the boss of all the boys LOL. Then two bunnies (Holland Lops...they are my sons but I look after them :banghead:) and one bearded dragon, Larry... he's 12.
I feel like a zookeeper most days. ;)

Ok great about the meter... I will start using it tomorrow morning. That will be easier to track.

Wow. How do you manage! I have just 2 kitties and they keep me on my toes. Both Budge and Bandit are girls and were strays that we adopted almost 13 years ago. Within 6 weeks of each other. They are like chalk and cheese in every way - appearance, personality...

Lucky girls to be adopted by you :joyful: I wonder who the boss is? I'm going to guess Bandit.:cat:

My cats have been very low maintenance up until now with Missy. But yes I definitely have my hands full most days. Not to mention I do all the accounting for our businesses. So when I say I'm used to functioning on little sleep... I'm not kidding LOL :blackeye: But I am very blessed so not complaining at all

No. She won't go much lower. Feed LC and call it a night! :) If you wake up at some point, feed her a little LC again since you are the autofeeder! :D
Ok I am relieved to hear that... how in the world did you get to know cats so well. I'm beyond impressed!!
I will probably check her in a few hours and feed her again just to make sure she's not trying to pull a fast one.
Thank you again for all your help and support today... You're the BEST!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
