Happy Valentines Day to all :) Hope you had a great night, and wishing you all a day of safe surfing!

Quick question...when I created my SS I used the World tab, and the US tab is still available for anyone to click and view, it automatically switches my data to US measurements, which is awesome because most of the FDMB are located in the US from what I understand, so everyone can easily tell what's going on with us.
However, when I look at US member's SS I can't find the World tab and I have to use a conversion calculator to see their World values. I "think" in Cdn (World) numbers, and that makes it difficult. Am I missing something, or is that option not available to World members? Thanks, with love, Nikki

AMPS 6.2 (112)
1.6 U Lantus
+3 4.9 (88)
+4 5.3 (95)
+7.5 6.0 (108)
+9 5.5 (99)
PMPS 6.6 (119)
1.7 U Lantus
+3 4.6 (83)
+4 4.3 (77)
+5 4.9 (88)
+9 4.1 (74)

Willow is looking good. US members don't have a World tab. I've never seen anyone ask about it before. It would be a nice option for those not in the US looking at spreadsheets.

I was *really* hoping I was missing something :( I have a general idea about the number conversions, of course, but when I'm looking at SS for patterns and whatever at the lower numbers where Willow hangs, it would help so very, very much. Oh well. Thanks for answering!

Like Carla noted, the US version of the SS, doesn't do the conversions. In part, it's because those of us in the US would be entering our data on the "US" tab of the World SS and it wouldn't convert back. To make the conversion, you multiply the mmol/L (World number) by 18.

One general thought, though, is that most of us don't look at the specific numbers. The color coding on the SS allow us to look at the trends which it more helpful when trying to look at the overview and make decisions about dosing.

You could copy the row with the mg/dL color code keys from the US tab to a new row right above (or below) the mmol/L equivalents on your World tab. That way you'd get used to seeing how the two number ranges line up for each of the colors.

Hi, Willow is pretty consistently dark green with the occasional low blue with a very small range so the colors don't do much for me. you think I'd learn the numbers because the range is so short, but I'm not really numerically inclined. Thanks :)

I just keep a shortcut to my calculator on my phone to convert. I found that I think more in US numbers now for other cats, and it's when talking to DH that I have to convert.

I have a colour coded Excel spreadsheet on my home computer that does the translation. I used to have it up when I was on FDMB, PM me in a couple days and I can send it to you. The file is at home, but I won’t be for a couple days.
