Re: 02/14 AMPS Whiskers 229 PMPS 346
Good Evening,
Whiskers PMPS 346 is kinda high. We started a new lantus pen tonight, maybe that will help.
Our Dog Bandit does leak protien from his kidneys, but does not actually have CRF. He has Glomerulonephritis, which can lead to CRF. I talked to the vet today and Glomerulonephritis can cause blood clots to be thrown off (the kidney's?), this could cause the severe tremors/trembling he experiance yesterday. If the clots go to the lungs or brain he would die. We have an appointment to see the vet for Bandit on Thursday, in the meantime it will be treated as in humans with low dose asprin. 1/4 tablet of 80 milligram asprin daily. He got his first does tonight.
Tomorrow is our court date to close my sisters estate. Wednesday Whiskers goes back to the U of M for more testing. Thursday Bandit goes to the regular vet.
Keeping Rocket, Willie, Blackie, Peeps and of course Whiskers in thoughts and prayers and all the other kitties and beans in need.
Tired now. Good night.
