Thank you Claudia, Karrie, and Ele. It is 47 degrees here in Minnesota today, summer???....Whiskers is having a nice blue surf today. I wonder if she will ever see green, but we must be so careful, with everything else she has going on. But I still want her to feel the best she can. Maybe we will consider a +.25unit lantus increase next weekend. We'll see how things go this week.
The internet has been down all afternoon. I finally got it up and going again. This morning around 7:30am our dog Bandit (my sisters pomeranian), cried out and I bolted out of bed and went to him. He was hiding in a corner. I took him to the bed, he had violent trembling all over his entire body for about 10 minutes, than milder trembling for another 15 minutes. I let him sleep on the bed for the rest of the morning. I've noticed him trembling a few times today. He has CRF, so far is has been fairly well managed, any ideas what this could be?
We go to court on Tuesday February 15th (one day after valentines day, nice) to close my sister's estate. Not the best day, I watched raising Helen and Now P.S. I love you, both movies about losing loved ones... :shock: @-) :YMSIGH: .
I have to go try to get some laundry done before the night is over.
We continue to keep Claudia and Rocket, Ele and Blackie, Christie and Willie, Michelle and Peeps, and all other cats in need and their people, in our prayers.

P.S. Whiskers appetite thing, she bites my fingers trying to snap the treats out of my hand after BG testing....I'm not sure ravenous is right either.

Can anything just be right?

Hi Cheryl, I sure do hope that Bandit is OK and that Whiskers will continue to do pretty well, too. What a lot you have to deal with now. My heart goes out to you. I hope that Tuesday will go smoothly and that you will have help from competent, compassionate people. In the meantime, spend as much time as you can with your Whiskers and Bandit. They need to know that you are OK, and their presence will comfort you as much as yours comforts them.

Continued hopes and prayers for whiskers. what a nice cycle she is having today. Mannie can be that way with treats too - some of them he really likes, and I can't give them to him soon enough. maybe it is the same for Whiskers.

I hope all goes well with the estate process - I am sorry for it all, but I also hope it will give you some sort of closure.

I have no clue on the tremors and crf - i hope all is OK with Bandit. Mannie and I send healing vines for him too.

You might want to see if you can find a CRF group for dogs. There's an excellent site for cats so I can't imagine that there's not one for dogs. You might want to post either on Heath or Community and ask.
