Hi Everyone ; I tested this morning, but not since then. I will test tonight. She is very restless today. I sure would like to know if I can soon increase her insulin. Sixteen days on 1.5, and her reads are still very high. I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. I usally don't go on the computer on Sundays....but this is an exception....Susan and Chirpie
 
I think Sienne requested more spot checks so she can be confident in what the insulin is doing mid day/night. Not sure if you will get dosing advice without it.

Can you get a +6 tomorrow and post that number (of course along with your AMPS). Since Lantus is dosed by Nadir - not your preshot readings, this is why this is important. Different insulins are dosed with preshot numbers, but not Lantus.
 
agrees with Karrie, those extra numbers will help to see how this particular dose is working thru the cycles.

Hoping for some lower numbers this morning with that increase, and Chirpie has a good run today ! :smile:
