Good morning.

Whiskers seems to be tolerating the Trilostane alright. We have been giving it since February 8th (4 days). We will be going back to the U of M on Feburary 16th for additional testing to see if it has helped lower her cortisone levels. I have not yet observed any bad side effects from the medication. Her appetite continues to be good. The only thing I notice is restlessness at night. She will usually stay with us on the bed for a little while and then gets up and goes downstairs. I'll do a curve tomorrow to see how it has affected her BG levels.

Have a nice weekend.

Happy Saturday Cheryl & Whiskers :YMHUG:
Not a bad # this morning.. lil lady is.. hello.. sweet yellow ;-)
I see you joined facebook, I sent you a friend request... I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Happy to hear there are so far no side effects :thumbup

Glad to hear that Whiskers is responding okay to the medications. Hope you are hanging in there and having a good day! Willie too has not wanted to go to bed with me, but he generally sneaks in in the middle of the night for covert cuddles. Hopefully Miss Witty will be feeling more social soon!

Hi Cheryl & Whiskers, Good news that the medication is not creating any ill effects. Thinking of you and hoping that you are having a good weekend.

Hugs,
Ella & Rusty

Hi Chery,
Glad to hear that you have not seen any side affects. Keep us posted on your visit to the U. Thinking of you often and you are in my prayers.

I'm happy to hear that Whiskers is doing well with her meds so far. It's always scary to start something new, and it's a relief when things work out ok. I hope it helps her.

Hi guys!

I am glad that Whiskers is tolerating the meds well - I truly hope that they help her. It;s such a relief when things go well. We think of you often. I hope you guys are having a good weekend.

continued prayers for you two and hoping Whiskers does well with the new treatment....

from the research i did for when Comet was thought to have cushings...one of the things they do is drink a lot of water and are restless and the meds make them feel hot...so if you can...add more waterbowls around your place...i know you have other fur-babies to worry about but this way Whiskers has water everywhere...if possible...

Re: 02/12 Whiskers AMPS 257 PMPS 201

Hi all,

I'm about to check Whiskers PMPS and than feed and medicate everyone. I had a co-worker over today, and the first thing she said when she saw Whiskers was "oh yeah, she has really slowed down." It was shocking to hear, while I know she is not well, it has been a process, so to hear someone else say right away that she has really slowed down makes me feel bad. She is sick.

I'm sorry I am not to up date on the facebook site, I hadn't belonged before and there is just so much to do.
I'll try to spend more time there and respond the Nicole and Claudia's friend requests soon, I'm not ignoring you, I'm just more used to FDMB. And than there is also Yuku which I hope to understand soon as well, and be able to start posting there soon.

I am sad to see Whiskers has hair loss by her hind quarter, it is really hard to see. I do not want her to be sick.....

Ok, time to go feed everyone....

P.S I'm sorry I do not seem to have time to visit everyone's condo's more often. Keeping Claudia and Rocket, Christie and Willie, Ele and Blackie, Michelle and Peeps, Pattie and Harley in our thoughts and Prayers.

Don't worry...when you have so much going on...we'll visit YOUR condo!

it's hard to juggle so many things, and we all understand.
