I woke up to J.D. throwing up again this morning around +11. Interesting how I wake up to my cat throwing up two rooms away, but not to the alarm on the nightstand.

J.D. often throws up clear liquid about an hour before breffis, but the past two mornings, it has been food.

I gave him some Pepcid at +11.25, wrapped in a piece of steak.

I watched him go downstairs to the litter boxes (because he doesn't want to use the one I bring upstairs for him), and he seemed to be walking slower. I got a negative ketone test. He walked back up a little faster, but not as fast as he normally does. Last night when he was feeling better, he totally beat me up the stairs.

So, he was all excited once he got a taste of that steak, and got some more for his tests.

Again, both cats didn't want their FF breffis, so I added bits of steak (and warm water to J.D.'s). A little FortiFlora on top, and they ate most of it. I then added about 1/8 can of FF Flaked Tuna to each dish, and most of 1st Breffis has been eaten.

Last night, I thought J.D. was all better and was wondering about my vet appointment for bloodwork on Saturday. Today, I am glad I still have it. Should he test for anything else? Like the fPLI or whatever it's called?

Off to get ready for work...

I hope the pepcid helps. It's good you still have the vet appointment scheduled, in case the pepcid doesn't entirely clear whatever has his tummy acting up. There's an idea for an alarm clock; the cat puke clock. Sure would rouse me from a deep slumber!

I just got him to eat his 2nd Breffis, with some Miralax and warm water mixed in. Both cats ate their 2nd Breffises in their beds.

and I think it will be a relief to have bloodwork done on JD.

Hi guys .. continued feel better thoughts J.D.'s way! I'm glad they both ate up their fuds, though it sounds like a little battle this morning? I think going to the vet will put your mind at ease .. hoping for good results! Have a great weekend!
 
Since I'm finely going to be home for a day, I gave J.D. 0.0 (at the zero line) of R tonight with his PMPS.
He was on the bed when I got home, and got up for test, shoot, and feed (I wasn't watching, but I think he ate all his food and helped himself to Gingers, too. Both bowls are licked clean).

We're off for a quick walk.
