Furball was happy and purry this morning. I hope she heads back down today. Simba still seems a little wound up. I hope she calms down this weekend. Baby and Kitty (her biological sister and mother) are still hissing at her. I hope they calm down and realize it's Simba soon.

Hi Carla! Healing vines for your Simba:bighug:. My girls just had their dentals too...not because of dental month, it was just due. Ivy is down to her four front long teeth, she lost her last back two. Shira kept all hers. I've been brushing every day! I remember fur shots:blackeye:. I hope Furball will show you her sliding skills this weekend. Hugs to you and all types of needed vines to all of your household:bighug::bighug:
Rachel it's good to hear from you. I hope your girls are recovering nicely from their dentals.

Hope Furball does some nice blue/green surfing today.
Poor Simba! I hope her family accepts her back into the fold this weekend. I wonder if you wiped Simba down with a blanket that Baby or Kitty sleep on if that would ease the tension? Hope Simba eats well today.
How are you feeling?

:bighug::bighug:Carla, nothing but positive thoughts. When I had Ming in the ER for two nights in November they told me it was most likely colon cancer. Two different doctors mind you. Once I brought Ming in for a follow up a few days later we met with the IM vet. She wasn't convinced it was cancer based on all I told her about Ming's constipation history. Long story short it turned out to be edema (colon walls) from the three enemas he got in a short period of time. The follow US showed no thickening of the walls so I'm now convinced vets throw out the "C" word to quickly.
Prayers you too will get the "oh it was only inflammation" report:bighug::bighug:

Hope Furball shows you some good stuff on curve day!

Her own mother doesn’t recognize her?! Poor Simba, she must be just as confused “hey guys, it’s just me with a new haircut! :cat: Guys...guys?” :(

I third the idea rubbing some cat smells on her, as well as a shirt you’ve worn. When I take my cats to the vet I always bring a blanket for them but also an item of clothing that I or my girls have worn so they have familiar smells near to them. Hope it helps.

Hope your weekend settles in with all kitties coalescing again. I also like the blanket idea to mitigate the residual post-Vetty scents. Maybe a bit of rescue remedy for all?
Hope Furball gives you some nice steady -like numbers and with some :D mixed in. And that you can relax some and continue to feel well after that last bout.:bighug:

It looks like a flat yellow day for Furball.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and good wishes. Poor Simba is scared and hiding most of the time except when she's getting some loving from me. I tried petting Simba and then petting Baby and vice versa hoping some of the smell would transfer. Good idea about the blanket except Baby and Kitty sleep in either pet beds or a boxes. There's nothing to rub on Simba. I think it would freak her out if I tried to rub the pet bed on her. I will try one of my shirts I've recently worn. I bought some rescue remedy a long time ago and forgot I had it because it didn't seem to make any difference when I tried it. I think I'll try it again.

How are you feeling?
Besides being exhausted from dealing with cat drama, I'm finally feeling better. I still have some head congestion and sinus drainage, but I'm hoping it will clear up soon.
