Max still seems to be bouncing. The last two nights he's stayed high but both afternoons he was low. I've been working so am not able to check him as frequently but am able to get a test in by +8

My BF has been around in afternoon so he has been giving the mid cycle meal for now. I found a timed feeder on amazon last night and ordered it so that will no longer be an issue when I'm working.

Bouncing around is very common in the first couple of months with lantus. Beth posted this for me a little while ago, it might make you feel better about what you're seeing just now too:

Fluctuations are very common in this phase before BGs start to stabilize under consistent dosing: a typical curve of cat over the first 1.5 months on Lantus can be seen here. http://www.tillydiabetes.net/images/Lan ... _Graph.jpg

Hi guys .. yep, bouncing is very common .. we all go through it .. we all despise it  Glad you found an auto feeder .. they come in so handy .. have a great day!

Max is decidedly one bouncy guy. The more time he spends in lower ranges, the less he will bounce. We refer to this period as "Liver Training School" (LTS).

He is indeed a bouncy boy -
seems to clear them pretty quick though :-D

I think you will be very happy with the timed feeder - we could not have survived without ours.
