This is shooting my first green with Lu, but more than a decade ago, Marje and a few others kept me company during some sleepless nights with my cat River, which was incredibly kind of them.

Lu wins the Golden Ovaries award for her amazing courage and character. After all, she simply ran into my house one frosty November morning in 2009, from who-knows-where, with perfect poise sat with the other cats in the breakfast lineup, and has been here ever since, smart girl.
The first time I shot green, years ago, I was far from calm. I had tears in my eyes and my hands were shaking. But Marje calmly talked me through it. This group has been a lifeline to me and so many others. I was reading through some other threads, and in my town vets remain clueless about how to treat diabetes.
