Good Morning ! TGIF !
Salems doing great still . Preshot number was higher this morning . We hit 50 last night . So when I fill the syringe im going to see if I just push a drop or two out after filling on 2 units will keep him from going too close to fifty I tried it before it seemed to work a little better keeping him from going under . Salem seems to be in between dosages 1.75 units and 2 units . So I’m going to try that this morning . And in his pmps . I know it seems silly but it seemed to work at one time when I tried it . Just a drop or two less than 2 units at one preshot seems to help keep him from going under fifty . So I’m going to try that once again each day see what a difference it will do this time too . if not I guess we will have to reduce to 1.75 again if we hit under 50 at 2 units .
It’s howling outside this morning . I have not listened to the weather today but yesterday they let the schools out early we had some flash flood watches some thunder . ... yes thunder in the winter ! We might see snow ten days from now ! Old saying it’s going to snow when it thunders in ten days ir there’s a ring around the moon . We even had tornado watches tou but that sky does not look good this morning and it’s howling like a cold front is coming threw .

Salem knows the weather isn’t any good this morning . It’s amazing how animals know these things . He’s just looking out the windows with his neck stretched out watching the sky !

When it howls outside by me it is usually when we are having a hurricane and the winds go through the storm shutters. It is a strange/spooky sound....hope your weather clears soon and Salem can stop looking out the window and catch a cat nap:)

Good luck with the dosing and I hope Salem surfs safely:D
 
Hi Tina! Yes, I know exactly what you mean about those howling winds! They were howling here yesterday!

You may want to write your 2 on your SS as a 2S (meaning it's a skinny 2)...just a little shaved off makes it a 2S - by the same token we also use 2F meaning a 2 with just a little tiny extra or a Fat2...just some lingo that's used around here and you can put it in your Unit dose column and folks will know you shaved a little off the dose.

I personally have had little success with Fat or Skinny doses - even though I use calipers and add those fractions incrementally with them...they almost never work for Luci - but if it works for Salem then it does! ECID!

btw, I have to work a lot lately so am rarely on the forum during the day - I get a peak at a few condos before I dive in but I'm usually gone by 7 or so...

Thanks ! I put the S beside the 2 for skinny. I learned something new ! I think I read about it somewhere on the board before awhile back ? Dnt work too hard Sue ! I see just those few drops he went into the blues tonight I guess that’s what happen in there plus I was 45 minutes late shooting his pmps this evening ? That maybe why I got those numbers . I Had to take care of something and I didn’t realize it was past 7 pm (oh my Tina ! ... I hate that ) it’s finally calmed down now thank God ! We got a lot of twigs and branches all in our yard now what a mess ! Have a good night everyone ! Prayers for all sick kitties and people ! I hope everyone’s feeling better now !
