So, I couldn’t sleep very well and I fed Nigel about 45 minutes before AMBG this morning. I put out an extra half a can of food for him last night before I went to bed as well after the test I did at +3 PMBG. It wasn’t frozen. I can try that trick tonight, but it was too late to get to it last night. Anyway, can too much food raise his BG? Or if the meals aren’t small and spaced? His eating habits are pretty inconsistent. Last night he ate everything fairly quickly at PMBG—not much grazing. It should be easier to control the timing of his feedings when I receive his feeder tomorrow.
How should I space his feeding once it arrives? He’s 15.5 lbs and I’m feeding him FF. Been giving him 1 can each at AMBG/PMBG and then splitting a third can and putting it out before leaving for work and going to bed, or midday if I’m home.
