It's possible but I think the numbers may reflect a "bounce." If you look at Leo's SS, every time he drops into blue numbers or below, his numbers jump back to 300 or over. When a cat drops into low numbers or into numbers that are lower than what he's used to or the numbers drop quickly, the liver and pancreas can release a stored form of glucose along with counterregulatory hormones that cause the numbers to spike back up. It is truly annoying for us but is a protective mechanism for your cat. It can take up to 3 days/6 cycles for the bounce to clear. The more time your cat spends in lower numbers, the less he will bounce and the quicker the bounce will clear.
 
No wonder he's napping, but so are the other two kitties. That's what they do, though. I'll just keep plugging along....

You're right! I see that! This is the third time now. Hopefully things will become smoother.
