I, with a lot of resistance, poked her other ear this morning. :stop: I was up, sort of, at 4:30 am, half hour before Pre shot fasting, so I fed her. She was hungry. She also ate a little since her shot, better than nothing at all. How are you and the girls? Budge doing okay? :D:cat:
 
Dolly's looking so great, Adrienne! Hope Dolly comes around to the poking. I have to chase Ruby around for it some days unless she's starving, in which case she will jump right on the couch and wait for it. Have a lovely day! :bighug:

She just ate a lot more so do you think I should skip the mc?
 
I don't know what I started doing wrong with poking. Been Poking Dolly since October 2019 with no problems, don't remember hurting her (can't say never??) or her ear becoming inflamed or sore like it is now. I feel awful, I know she is wondering why I want to cause her pain :arghh:. Has anyone else had this
experience but maybe not as bad? :cat::mad:
 
Hi Adrienne...sorry about Dolly's ear, I don't have any advice to give :bighug: I saw you mention auto-feeders - I love mine and endorse it 100% :p I use the CatMate C500 - I much prefer it over the popular PetSafe5 (which I also own). The C500 it takes smaller batteries than the PetSafe so it doesn't weigh as much and you can see the clock for all the slots without opening the cover; it also has ice packs that cover all compartments.

Nice cycle today :bighug:

Thanks Susanne. I was looking on Amazon. I hate to spend money on something she won’t use, like her beautiful new soft & cushy expensive perch. Her old perch, one of them, is so filthy and too small, she loves to curl up in it. I worry this affects her breathing in that position. Anyway, she wouldn’t talk to us for two days. She slept in it the first night but I truly understand her attachment to the old one (which we put back in place :facepalm:) Just one of many things she doesn’t use. I will look at the one you use. lol sounds like my kitties! And check eBay for the feeders too - I actually see there are some petsafe5s for decent deals. My biggest qualm with it is that it takes 4D batteries so I call it a dinosaur :p
