Good morning, LL! ~O) ~O) (ooh, the icons work again, whee!) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)

WCR: What a good kitty I have! We had company last night and he had to get tested in front of other people for the first time. I was worried because he's a little skittish in front of people sometimes, but he did really well. My visiting friends were all "wait, you're gonna do what to your cat?!?" but were pretty impressed once they saw what a good boy Chaos can be. When I opened the door this AM I got the biggest rumbliest purrs ever, he was so excited to see me. Shot 1.0u last night and this morning, will test and see how he does on this dose. AMPS 263, and his +4 last night was 260 so I think he just hung around in the yellows again all night.

It is now Lu the Civie's lap-time with Mama. This happens every day after breakfast. Fortunately he's small so I can type around him. Chaos, not so much... he can literally keep me from posting if he wants to. I tried to attach a photo of this but something's not working... s'ok, I'll save it for later.

Chaos' rumbly purrs made me smile this morning. What a sweet boy. And your civvie getting daily morning laptime - awwwww. Do you have a pic of Chaos and Lu together?

216 at +3, lower than the +3s have been lately. Maybe we're getting somewhere. :smile:

He's been chirpy and sweet today, pretty mellow. I'm waiting for the energy burst that lower numbers seem to bring out in him.

It's hard to get a pic of Chaos and Lu together since they are usually lying at least three feet apart, but they've been getting closer so we'll see what my camera and I can catch. Now I have a mission!

Not a bad day for Chaos. I can actually see a nadir in today's cycle. There was movement. Hopefully we can get him down further in the next couple days. He's had a decent afternoon, mostly lounging and staring, and asking for food. My little guy does like to eat!

Spent most of the day in the kitchen icing, decorating, cleaning up, repeating... will have photos to post tomorrow. I think it's bad luck to post the cake before the recipient has possession. My feet, my back, etc. and so on!

LOL I love the cake superstition! Totally something I would do!! :-D

After a crappy end to my day at work, I have to say that Chaos' rumbling purrs definitely helped remind me that the work day is OVER (as does the purring kitty sleeping next to me!). Glad you had good run of numbers... hope that Chaos breaks through into blues and greens soon!

Awww, I'm glad rumbly Chaos can help!

Got a 134 at +4 tonight yaaaaaay!!! I know it's a bit of a steep drop, but I was more militant about keeping him out of Civvie's food than usual. I always feed him plenty at +4 so he gets through the night ok. He'll leave some for later but by the time I get up it's gone.

I loved the rumbling purrs.

This is a pretty good drop. Is there any way you will be up to get another spot check?

Hi Miriam! I'll give staying up another hour or two a shot. The meds I have to take render me pretty much dead to the world once I'm asleep but if I resist falling asleep in the first place I do OK. Worrying about Chaos is just the thing to keep me awake, actually. nailbite_smile He's a good motivator in addition to his purring skills.
 
Cool. We're 137 at +5 so I think we're safe. He's holding steady. Mama bean can relax and surrender to unconsciousness.

So, earlier in the week I got the BOS prize. Is there some kind of sleep deprivation merit badge? ;-)
