Hes still hanging in there. The sub q gives him a boost to nibble a bit and purr.

i decided to stop insulin for a bit since his pre shot numbers were low, if he got insulin he would dive, and he wont eat at shot time.

i figured since these may be his last days, id rather risk it to try to get him off the syringe feeding.

thank you all for caring!

i still have hope that he may come back ( since the sub q REALLY) did change things. He is purring today! So thats great
Keeping everything crossed! :-)

Bandit's kidney numbers took a turn for the worse in Sep 2021 and she wasn't eating and was generally looking out of it. We started fluids every day and that really turned her around.

Im beginning to have some hope that this will be the case! I havent brought him in to the vet since november ( since the anxiety seemed to kick off a pancreatitis episode), but so far so good ((day 4 )!
He actually purrs and seems to enjoy being wrapped in a warm blanket for the fluids

I hope he continues to improve each day. :bighug::bighug::bighug: Sometimes a bad pancreatitis episode take take a long time to go away.
Thank you elise ( as always) you might be right! Also my stubbornness in not starting sub q fluids earlier :banghead:. Regardless, he is 17.5 with 3 chronic conditions, so i guess i am hoping for lots of good days for him ( no matter how many)

Thank you everyone for the kind wishes. I think i will stop guessing at this point. I dont want to sound alarms then cry wolf ;)
I will update when i change course or when lando changes course!
