So we got home late on Monday night, and I didn't give her insulin as it was so late and I couldn't stay up monitoring, and also didn't give her any yesterday because I wanted to try another day without, and test today as my house sitter reports that she managed to snack on George's kibbles a time or two while we were away.
Her +5 is 117 without any insulin at all since the morning of 25 Feb 2022.
She seems to have developed a food allergy (fish I think) which has resulted in her scratching badly at her neck and chin, so she is a bit stressed, but not too badly. I'm keeping her off fish and trying to get her onto a variation of Dr Lisa's home made cat food (but she is a fussy brat). She is eating reasonably well, asking for food about 3-4 x a day and eating most of the 40g I give her each time; but not as much as when she was on insulin.
Do you guys think I should put her back on, or leave her off and test a few times a day for the next few weeks?
