Her ear looks bad again so I am doing the other ear which she hates. Have to watch for infection. Her congestion is awful, antibiotics did not help. Needs to have CT Scan or x-rays of her sinus tract to look for polyps. Then there is always the fear of cancer, I will not do chemo, i would not subject her to that. so.....I have been staling on the x-rays. It terrifies me. I see many that do it but to me their quality of life starts to decline. Maybe I am totally wrong. Also there is the expense. X-rays are around $600 because she needs to be anesthetized which also terrifies me. Like many, we have already spent many thousands of dollars on Dolly. I don't know what decision I will make. I know this is not the place to discuss it (yet I did anyway):arghh:
Expense is not the issue but has to be considered as to what we can actually do. :nailbiting:

So sorry about her ear...such gorgeous green numbers though! Have you tried a smaller lancet by any chance? Finer gauge will make a smaller hole...just a thought.

Let's hope that she won't have to go thru all this poking too much longer - keep up the great work...maybe she can get back into her good numbers soon!! And won't need so many pokies.

Thanks Sue. I use a 30 guage now. She just went up to 125, but usually drops back down before her shot. Hope you and Luci are having a good day. :bighug::bighug:
