Teasel is letting you have at least one day off this holiday weekend! I take it you are not planning on attending the hoopla downtown? :) Personally I HATE crowds so I am staying put in my comfy little abode!

There's no way I'd set foot into that chaos, Linda, even though it's quite close to where I live. The Snowbirds do their formation flying right over my head (weather permitting - not today!) and I can certainly hear the fireworks. I'd see them if my apartment faced a different direction.

I hear ya! No way I'd consider it either. The Snowbirds are fun to watch but I hate the noise so only attended the air show at the CNE once. I live near the airport and have had the whole house shaking as some of the planes participating in the CNE show were heading toward the exhibition grounds down by the lake. Always hate Labour Day weekend for that reason and it upset my kitties too! Now all I have to worry about this weekend is my neighbour who sets off fireworks every time there is an excuse to do so! :mad:

Well , you two enjoy a quiet Canada Day :). It's crazy cos if we were any more alike we'd be sisters ;). In a few days the "crowd" will come to me on the 4th so keep me in your thoughts and prayers ;). 15 spending the night !!!! I may pitch tents for them in the back field ;) :)

:):):).... I stack the cousins like cord wood in the basement family room ;). Not too cozy so they don't stay too long :) ;) . And they are a communal bunch..love the "tripping over each other" aspect of each holiday :). Ahhhhhhhhh.... nah, it's fun...sorta...for just 24 hours ;)

What's that saying about visitors being like fish - after three days they smell bad ... or something like that. :confused:
