Hi there

Misty seems to be bouncing but generally too high. Should I increase to 3.25?

@Bron and Sheba (GA) Hi Bron, how are you? I’m enjoying the rain and loud croaking of frogs at the moment. Back to school tomorrow. Misty was great on the trip. She was unhappy and awake for the entire 10 hour trip each way, but settled after a couple of hours in the way up and almost immediately on the way back. She didn’t pass urine for perhaps 22 hours on the way up, but was ok after that. She was so happy to be home. I will be working away from home 3 days a week for the foreseeable future so I am a bit worried about her. I start on Wednesday but only for 1 day this week, so I thought an increase before next week would be better so I can monitor her, if you think one is justified. I know she’s bouncing, but there’s not much blue before she goes back up to pink and yellow. I’m interested in your thoughts. Thanks so much.

I’m so glad the trip went well and Misty was good. What a little champion! And I’m sure she is happy to be home
Yes it does look as if toy could do with an increase. You have had a ew blue pre shot so the BGs were most probably lower during the latter part of the previous cycle.
It’s a good time to try the increase and see how you go with you being at home for the week.
Will she eat with you not there?

Thanks. She does eat if I’m not there most of the time. She’s not great at “bowl checks” when I’m home, preferring to wake me up sometimes or come and bite my leg if I’m watching tv, but I think if I leave the food near where she is sleeping during the day she is usually ok. I hope we will all settle into our new,chaotic routine.

I will let you know.
I can test at +8 or so, but not lunch time unfortunately.
Or I can gradually change her time to 3 hours earlier and then test at +2 or so. It’s not ideal and I feel guilty. I took a new job because the last one was toxic, but this one is less working from home so Misty and the kids are more impacted. I can’t change it now, but maybe I should have stayed at the other job…

You have to look after you as well. Staying in a toxic job is not a good idea. I’m sure you will work it all out. Don’t feel guilty!
