Some of you are aware that one of our civies, Samantha recently has not been able to keep any food down.
Dominick took her to her vet today and during the initial examination he detected a mass.
He will sedate Samantha enough to get enough xrays to further clarify and he is keeping her overnight.
Samantha is one tough little old lady. Since she found her way to our house (Stray Cat Central) as an adult, there is no way to know her age.
Her vet estimates she is around 12.
I purchased a baby scale and it arrived over the week end. After I put it together I placed it on the dining room table.
Since Sammie was handy I tried it out with her. She is down to 6lbs. Although she has always been a peanut she has never been this light.
Later in the evening I was looking all around the house for her and could not find her in any of her usual spots.
She was in plain sight the whole time - in the dim light of the dining room, on the table, in the scale.
She slept there until morning.
Now, we wait.
