Hello !!!
I hope everyone’s morning is going great . Gotta run some errands this morning . I’m really not in the mood for it but my sin has a doctor appointment . I try my best to go with him to see how he’s doing . He has a rough year last year . To start off the new year he had a stroke while at work at age 24 then we found out he had a hole in he’s heart so April 24 he had heart surgery at Duke . Thank God we have one of the number one hospitals in the USA for heart doctors . He’s doing great but now he finds out he has Narcolepsy . It’s a sleep disorder he either can not sleep for days or he sleeps too much for days . Plus he’s an ex addict he got depressed for years when we lost he’s granddaddy to cancer then he’s grandmother in one year . The doctors told us some people just dnt know how to deal with life situations like that . it was hard on all of us . But he handled it the wrong way . It’s no excuse he knows that now . He’s grandparents wouldn’t have wanted him to be doing that kind of life . Everyone who knows him tells me he’s a great person we raised him well but where did I go wrong with this ? He knows I’m against that kind of life . We raided him in Love , Faith and Family . God first among among it all . I’m trying my best to listen to him and understand why he did this but he knows he alone is the only one who can do this . He’s got to be the one to do this . He’s doing great now though he realizes what he did was wrong but it’s going to be a hard road .So many people are overdosing on this stuff . I hope all the drug dealers fall of the earth ! I love my son to death . He’s a good kind hearted young man . I hope the best for his future .
He’s really a great person but chose the wrong road in life . I pray for him everyday . It’s hard to trust someone when they do drugs but I think he’s really realized how stupid and wrong it was . We didn’t raise him that way . He’s working really hard to stay away from that kind of life . He’s ready to go back to work but he’s having trouble getting sleep . He’s a hard worker . I know I sound predijuice cause he’s my son but I see him Everyday.... I see he’s got a good heart and he respects people . I just wish he would respect himself also . He’s better than that he doesn’t deserve that kind of life . It will kill him .
It’s become a big problem in the US today .

OK onto Salems , he’s doing great he’s either surfing he’s way through the day or he’s floating in the blues . Keep it up Salem your doing great !

Oh Tina, I'm so sorry to hear about your son's poor choice - and you must believe that it was not your doing in any way. We can only share our wisdom with them and then it's up to them to make life choices - after all they are going to make mistakes, just like we did.

I'm glad to hear Salem is doing ok...and that you're feeling somewhat better. This nasty cold is really giving me the business! Every day I think I'm getting a little better...but it's uphill all the way...too much coughing and it's exhausting and I sound like I have the plague...ugh...

I hope the doctor's appointment goes well....thank goodness for good medical care!

Thanks everyone he’s doing really good though . I hate he did what he did but like you say we make bad choices but he’s doing really well . But my DH and I everyday are always in our toes scared he will take the wrong path . I think and I continue to hope he’s learned he’s lesson . He really scared ya all . He’s doing elk now . Just hope he stays that way . You always say not my child but you never know . Feeling a little better but it sneaks up on you . I’m ok one minute then all of a sudden it hits you again . I hope all of you have a great night . Hope all of your babies are doing well ! I’m sorry I been so busy I haven’t looked the last few days .. :oops: I will catch up ! Prayers for all of you !

Tina, you and your DH sound like wonderful supportive parents. All the best of luck to all of you, I hope your son can stay clean and he can get help for the narcolepsy, it must be a horrible disorder to live with and difficult for all of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Salem continues to look fantastic! :D
