01/28 Blaze PMPS/306, +2/259, +3/232, +4/187

Thank you for switching to the Human Meter! That meter will be more helpful in seeing what the numbers actually look like. I'm not a fan of the AT2 either - the numbers are often higher than what we're used to seeing around here - all of our standards were written using human meters.

I hope Blaze clears this bounce soon so we can really see how he works the juice.

Have a good day Paola!

Note about tonight's PMPS reading. It is not accurate and taken at an empty stomach. I usually get home at 3:45/4 pm and remove all the bowls. They usually eat last at around 2 (video camera), but today I got home very late, past 5 and Blaze ate some food at at 4:36...so reading might be affected by food. I had a meeting at the bank that I could not miss and let's just say the new banker was not very efficient....gonna leave it as that.

It’s okay. You have been at it long enough. Picking up the food always 2 hours before is for newbies.

Here’s my suggestion for now. Tell me what you think. Reduce if he drops under 50. Let’s see how that works. When he bounces give him time to recover from the bounce and see if the reduction under 50 sticks. If we try this and he starts creeping up you can then try three times in the 40’s to reduce. It should give you a break from worrying if he’s too low. Until you are more rested if you catch a 50 you could also reduce.

Is his breath still smelly? I’d love to find out if he has a dental issue that caused him coming out of remission.

Yes I can try this. Just a questions about how long should I wait to give enough time for a bounce to clear? How many cycles is normal or "normal for Blaze" considering his crazy pancreas?

His breath has improved...I think it is the cerenia. I have given him a few breaks from it. I will tonight again. I think giving him one pill every day was too much. I find that he is also less sleepy this way and no nausea signs and (knock on wood) he hasn't vomited in a few weeks now. Only time was a hair ball maybe last week.

Also Elise, I just wrote down the plan on a piece of paper so it's handy and I remember. But, if you continue to follow us, would you mind also reminding me about what to do when you see the readings? Just to make sure I don't make any mistakes due to being tired.

That’s great news about his breath and no nausea.

Of course and I will continue to follow you.
I asked around and nobody has heard of that reaction to cerenia but as you know ECID.

A bounce can take as much as 6 cycles to clear or clear quickly. Blaze often clears super quickly. For now ask if you aren’t sure whether it’s a failed reduction. I think the human meter will clarify a lot. I hope so.

I hope so too, I have more than 50 strips in this current container and I have a brand new container with 100 strips to use after. I changed the battery in the meter just to make sure because I hand't used it in a long long time.
