J.D. barely ate anything last night. I did not syringe feed him, and I figured he ate more than his normal amount during the day, and that his total calorie count for the day was okay. I'm sure in a lot of ways eating for half the day and not the other half if not good, especially for a diabetic. Still having poo issues. He got his Orbax last night at +1.5 last night. Hopefully that will help with the tummy and poo issues.

He ate a bit this morning, and I gave him some Ondansetron and Cypro. At +1 he got out of bed and ate some more.

Btb for an hour for me. Then I have to get ready for work.

Hi Dyana,
I hpoe that J.D. Will have a good day today and that he will eat his fuds and feel better and better as the day progresses.

How is the snow situation down there? I hope the roads are OK. Too bad you have to work on a Sunday!

Hi Ella & Rusty :)

J.D. doesn't eat that well at work, so luckily he has eaten twice so far this morning.
I do need to get him used to eating both cycles.. morning and night.

It is cold 16 degrees with a Feels Like of 12. We had a little snow yesterday, and I see that the paths have been cleared this morning, so I may try to get the cats out for a quick walk before work. When we came home from the vet yesterday morning, it had not snowed yet, and J.D. walked the long walk home from my car which is parked around on the opposite side of my condo building. I hate for them to be confined to the house so much, and not get exercise. Ginger required extra laser light playing last night or else she was going to keep me up by racing around the house.

J.D. finished his third 1/4 can of 12% FF Roasted Turkey a few minutes ago. He also went and ate some of the food he wouldn't touch last night.

He is now getting a drink and washing his ear in the fountain :-| Our water smells really strong of chlorine this morning :-x I'm glad I only give the cats bottled water.

All of a sudden I was wondering why my vet charge yesterday was so high and was wondering if they charged me a premium for getting "squeezed" into their full schedule, and they didn't. The Orbax was $51.55. I think that's the most I've ever paid for an antibiotic. He gave me more than enough for 5 doses and said I could give it to him for any future pancreatitis flares. I hope it's shelf life once opened is long.

Hi Dyana,

Glad that J.D. is eating - will continue to send appy/poo vines. Hope your workday goes quickly, and J.D. decides he likes to eat there! I use the laser light to tire out my two civvies at night too :lol: It makes for quieter sleeping times!

We went for a short walk with the kitties in their little doggy jackets. I took some pictures, but I don't have to time post them now. Off to tbp..
