Hi everyone,
I know, I must be patient, I know... But Cleo's bg is still high today. She is a bit lethargic, but we have played and now she is beside to me in the bed and is purring.
I'm worried, but she doesn't seem sick. She is strange however: this morning didn't wake me up.
I hope to see some yellow or blue tomorrow...

I'm always alert for infections after dentals - do you see any sign that her mouth is bothering her? Any signs of the pancreatitis, icterus or cholangitis symptoms that she had last fall?

That 551 tonight might be the high before a bounce clears. I don't know. If she doesn't come down by tomorrow, I'd go ahead and increase her again tomorrow night, when you can monitor. If the next increase to 2.0u doesn't bring her blood sugar back down, or you see signs of illness, i'd contact the vet. These BGs don't seem in character.

another thought - do her ears look completely cleared up from the last infection?

I'm just fishing to see if there is any sign of infection/inflammation that could be increasing her blood sugar.

I don't see any sign of illness. Maybe her ear because sometimes she shake her head. I can't go to the vet until saturday. She is acting normal, doesn't drink too much, pee and poo as usual. Now she is watching birds out of the window...
