Good morning, everyone!
It's a sludgy morning here. You know, one of those mornings where you really don't want to pry yourself out of bed? The loud old school alarm clock was vetoed by DH after yesterday morning's shenanigans (go figure!), so we're back to the vibrating cell phone alarm. It doesn't exactly get my blood pumping but it does give me a leg up with my two little fur-faces. When I come out of the bedroom, they are still dazedly stretching and waking up. This gives me a minute to get coffee started before the Meow Chorus begins. Or course, I just spilled my coffee which added 15 minutes of mop-up to my morning.. ugh. See? Sludgy morning.
Chaos is still in the flat yellows for about the 10th cycle in a row. Patience is a virtue. He's being a good boy for his tests, though I know he doesn't like them. He stays so still except for his tail. It starts twitching when his ear warms up and he knows we're getting close to the poke...but it's so funny! The tail whips, but the rest of him stays perfectly still as if he's thinking "I must not try to get away from mama bean because the terrible thing she's doing must be important, or she wouldn't be doing it." I honestly think he made a conscious decision to trust me somewhere along the line, or this would not be going so smoothly. Smart boy. cat_pet_icon
Today's task is a cat-approved outing: buy more cat food!
