Yesterday overnight: the power of forgetting to say "anti-jinx" is strong with Butters:p:bighug:. She went as low as 52 and I was deprived of sleep.

I woke up this morning still clutching her glucometer and I was covered in test strips. I found the empty container nearby. I must've spilled it...can't really remember...all I know is this is what my life has come to and I'm sharing it publicly for some reason:confused:. I guess I figure you'll understand.

Morning Lyla ,sorry no sleep again last night.
I could picture you waking up with the meter still on your hand and test strips all over. Butters is really working that juice .
I hope tonight will be a better night. Kisses for Butters only if she behaves tonight :p

I had noted on my spreadsheet that butters has been cranky and acting a little off since before PMPS. I wonder if that could relate to her higher numbers. Who knows.
 
Last night was definitely a rager. I obviously partied so hard with the glucometer and test strips that I must've blacked out (safe space, right:p), which is something I never did even in my misspent youth.

Looks like tonight is going to be different, and Butters must've wanted her kisses as she behaved a little too well. Looks like I actually will get to sleep tonight...anti-jinx.
 
You must be sooo exhausted. So many sleepless nights. Be of these nights you might have to cut yourself a break and feed high carbs so you can get more sleep. I know you are like me and unable to nap during the day. :bighug: Sleep is looking good. Big ANTI-JINX!!!

I totally understand Lyla. The double condos, starting something and finding it undone hours later. Can’t remember if I did something this morning or was it yesterday, last week maybe? :oops: There is no catch up unfortunately. I nearly threw in the towel around thanksgiving, was up for nearly 3 full 24 days. I am too old for this o_O But I just carried on, was there a choice? And.. my second great grandson was born, no sleep, Covid, couldn’t leave Dolly even if I would have been able to see the baby. It gets better and when we made the choice it was because that’s how much we love our animals. Hope you’re sleeping right now. Hope tomorrow is more restful, today for you. You are doing such an amazing job. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
