WCR: All is good with Blackie, except this high AMPS #. I'm thinking it's contraband related as I'm sure that I didn't clean up the kitchen floor properly last night. That nose of hers finds even the tiniest of tiniest crumbs, I swear.

The pain of losing Daisy is still there. I just cried again. God I miss that little girl so very, very much.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.​

Thinking of you this morning, Angela. You must take all the time you need during the period of grieving. Just remember that Daisy is always with you.

That Blackie is a master at seeking out contraband!

These little sweethearts change our lives forever...when we have them with us, and when they have to leave. I don't think we ever stop missing them, but in time it does become more obvious (I can't say "easier", because I don't think that is ever the case) that they are always, always in our hearts, even though the are no longer here.

Trix is a little high this morning, too. Yesterday, she was crawling under a cabinet in search of stray civvie kibbles :lol: !!! These kitties love their contraband!!!

Don't feel there's something wrong with you that you continue to grieve. It's a long process, and everyone handles it differently. It's almost a year since we lost Kisa, and the other day I pulled a sweatshirt out of the back of my closet to find it was covered in his fur. I sat down on the floor and cuddled it, crying. You'll never stop missing her, but in time there will be more smiles when you think of her than tears - I promise! :YMHUG:

Blackie seems to be making up for that little contraband blip - sliding a little close to the edge, aren't you, Blackie? Ease off just a smidge, please, and surf that lovely green! :mrgreen:

Tricia, I think she's listened to you, perhaps a little too well.

I know that it'll take time to heal, and I know that there will be more smiles than tears. Right now, it seems that I can't stop talking about her without shedding a tear. I find myself reaching out to her little box, and caressing it, telling her that I'm here, and that I love her, etc.
