Nelli, on the day before yesterday was clearly feeling her ole self. Yesterday was better yet. She actually was almost footloose and carefree at Vet yesterday.
This morning she was 100% Nelli :cat:
Woke me up at 4:30 hungry, oh I’m not super hungry, would though like to go outside, check out what the ferel dude and dudette were up to...
Nelli ate... started to eat Bkfst of D. Lamb. Visibly hungry- stopped short and started chomp, chomp, paw slapping mouth and, sticking tongue out :(. Ate <couple T.
Let her outside. I, went back and layed down in hopes of shaking yet another killer tension headache.
Ok... now it is showtime!
Got Nelli back in, had poke machine and shot ready :joyful:.
6:40a mission accomplished :D.
Offered vitamins (Pet Naturals)- YES, ID LIKE SOME:cat:
OMG, she was frantic, obsessive biting them out of my hand! I knew then Nelli was still very hungry. Hand fed couple chunks of the Lamb- could see this as going to get messy and potentially end up in chomp, chompland.
Gave her about 4T. Farmina kibbles. She scarfed um up! NO chompland trip after :bighug:
She then wanted outside to her water bowl :).
Came back in.... fur very cold. Heated towel in dryer and warmed her up :cat:
Nelli is now lounging on warm bed and taking a nap :)
This end started 4.5 hours ago :bighug:
NOW Momma bean HAS TO get to work!!!

I know there are issues going on. My head is not in the sand.
I firmly believe I was dealing with a depressed and very sad kitty for 7 days... and I knew why. I’ve gotten her out of her funk- no more diarrhea and her appy is back to normal.
She does have something going on with her GI. I am anxiously awaiting the Senior Panel work up and the GI/ Spec fPL test being done today!!
The acid reflux symptoms are only getting worse :(

BTW, How is your weather?
 
Wonderful news! Makes me suspect it was pancreatitis and she’s recovered. No reason to test as if not during an active episode it would likely be normal. And if something else it’s over ! I hope no more vet visits are needed for a VERY long time.

@tiffmaxee would you forgo the Spec f test right now? I am definitely on a mission to determine what in the heck is going on with her acid reflux symptoms so (unfortunately), she gets loaded back up today, whisked off to vet for GI Panel
Would you forgo Panc test for now?

If she’s back to normal I would forgo the Spec fPL. It will likely be normal unless she’s having a flare.

Nelli is doing great :cat:. Better than a long, long time :)
Her poos are perfect. Eating back to normal.
No more sadness, no more depressed :bighug:
Her Labs came out remarkable- better than great! (I will post in “Labs” here shortly)

Those labs are awesome. I just talked to a guy at Healthy Paws whose cat is 25! She’s very thin and likely has kidney disease now but happy and gaining weight since he switched her to Friskies canned. Makes me wonder about my feeding expensive raw. I think a lot is in the genes and Nellie is blessed.
