I've never been so happy to see a pink number. Vyktor ravenously hungry this morning and very vocal about it so I thought we may have been in for some more nasty red.

I'm suspecting a flat pink day is in order - c'mon now Vyktor, surprise me (but not with red!!!)

Think I'm going to have to do like Devon and move the alarm clock away from the bed. Last night I must've hit the sleep button when it went off at 12.55, I was still ok to get the test, just five minutes late, but I do not remember doing it at all. So I'm now even more suspicious that the night before I did 'wake' reset the alarm for the morning and go back to sleep just forgetting the important bit (the testing) in the middle. @-)

I see an almost yellow AMPS :-D I hope you two have a good day.

I am bad about sleeping through the alarm. I now have two. One is my cell phone alarm, that I often sleep through unfortunately. The other is an alarm right outside the bedroom door (so I have to get up to shut it off) that is not so easily programmable, that is my got to get up now alarm for AMPS and PMPS testing.

I'm a light sleeper so alarms wake me right up but I'm like you...I feel like I'm going through the motions in my sleep even though I'm up.

Would love to see Vyktor come down!!! I hope he clears this bounce soon and shows us what he can do.

I can sooo relate to the alarm clock issue :oops: Embarrassing too because you have to tell what you did in your condo! :lol: :lol: I am a heavy sleeper - my alarm clock is across the room, but I have been known to get up, turn it off, and reset it for later without having any memory of it when I wake up.

Vyktor, come on down today buddy, OK? The pink floor, while better than red, is still not the place to be!

I know lots of people who play alarm clock games in some sort of way - it's a means of survival! I'm a pretty light sleeper, so waking up to the alarm is no biggie. However, I have to fool myself in other ways My alarm clock is set half an hour fast - that way, I can hit the snooze bar a number of times, it looks like it's later than it really is, so when I finally do drag myself out of bed I'm relieved to find that I actually still have plenty of time :lol: ! Pure silliness, I know, and it drives DH crazy, but it's what I need to do.

I hope Vyktor made his way off the pink floor!!!

I'm thinking that what looks like flat yelow in the last cycle doesn't count as clearing the bounce yet?

Interestingly I have noted to myself before that Vyktor's eyes seem cloudy when his numbers are very high. When I came home to do the lunchtime test I was pretty convinced that he'd come down before I'd even taken the test as his eyes were clearer. Has anyone else noticed that in their cats?

We got a little more play this afternoon, only about a minute again but he slaughtered a piece of hay :-D

Sometimes, a flat yellow cycle means some action is coming up. Maybe, you'll see some blue, tonight :mrgreen:

I wish I could get J.D. to play. All he does is play?fight with his sister :roll:

As far as your question about the eyes being different: I haven't noticed that, but I have noticed a big change in the silkiness of J.D.'s coat when his numbers have been lower.

Nice sunny yellow surf! Beats red anytime.

I haven't noticed cloudiness, but Tarragon's pupils get really big and round when he is high. When he is in better numbers, they are cat like, or a tall skinny oval. I bet if you are noticing a correlation that there really is one though.

Hi guys .. good luck with the alarm clock situation! It sounds like each of us have a way of dealing with those middle of the night tests .. And I also agree, sometimes these flat yellow cycles can lead to an exciting cycle of blues and greens! Let's hope for that!
