01/23 Haley - OTJ Update - AM +3 119, PM +3 180 | Feline Diabetes Message Board - FDMB

Ate a good breakfast and snacks. Acting fine. Up from yesterday's AM and PM.

She's at 133! Not green but this is the lowest she's been at night! She ate a good dinner and snack.

Hi Shirley, please correct me if I am wrong, but has it been almost a week since she ate the FF grilled?

If this were my cat, I would get her back on insulin. Just like cats who are started on insulin faster after diagnosis have a better chance of remission, cats that are restarted on insulin sooner (rather than later) after falling out of remission can get back into remission sooner.

It's possible she may not need insulin for very long. It looks like her pancreas could use a little assistance though.
