My head is very stopped up this morning. I can feel fluid behind one ear. Does anyone have any good ideas to clear it out? Thanks for any suggestions.

I do 50/50 alcohol and vinegar for outer eat infections creeping up. Not sure that would help here. Another thing to try, I know it sounds weird, but I swear it works for some reason: cut an onion in half, warm it up and wrap in some cheesecloth or paper towels and lay it on your ear for a bit.

Thanks. I tried the 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water this morning. I don't know if it will help, but I don't want this to turn into an ear infection.
 
Sorry about your ear being clogged up. Not sure what to tell you to do. Like the onion tip. Hey, some of the old wives tales and remedies really do work!

FB is looking marvelous in blues today. I wish you could stay home today too and catch her lowest. Hugs. :):):)

I got ear infections so frequently as a kid, I lost most of my hearing in one ear, and these are the things I’ve always done when I feel one coming on. I would never put water in my ear, that alone would cause an infection for me. Sometimes the alcohol burns really bad, but then I know something is trying to set up shop in there. I don’t know why the onion thing works, and yes, I learned it from my grandma, but it just does! Hope you feel better soon!

Try a capful of hydrogen peroxide. Tilt head to pour it in, then immediately turn head for it to drain out. That usually works for me to clear out the fluid in the ear.

Sounds like a remedy from the old Salem Massachusetts area :woot:. Say you already have the cat............straw broom????
Looks like a good start for Furball, crossed paws you can solve the stuffed head.
 
Ouch, that sounds miserable. I hope that one of those home remedies will work for you.

Praying for ears to unclog , Carla :bighug: My general go-to is keep drinking water ...you are smart to listen to your body . Mine morphed into a sinus infection so it’s good u r taking notice of symptoms .
 
Hi Carla, I hope your ear clears up soon. That's a terrible feeling! I don't have a remedy. When I had a stopped-up ear years ago I went to the doctor.
