Last Caturday
The kitten weighed in at 4 pounds 5 ounces today, so a 6 ounce gain since last Saturday.
He has learned to not bite me as hard and to keep his claws in when playing with me, most of the time.
He is no longer running at me and trying to eat whatever I eat. He is learning the ropes quickly.
He has been sleeping most of the day. I guess that's what he does all day when I am at work. I wonder if that's from me keeping him in the cage for two weeks while I was at work and while I was sleeping at night.
Ginger put her foot down about her cat tree:
And so, the kitten now uses J.D.'s cat tree:
His/J.D.'s cat tree is next to my computer, and that reminded me of finding J.D. that day, on the floor right next to my computer chair, and that made me wonder if J.D. was looking for me, that day, and I wasn't there. And then I literally washed my face with big tears today. Not knowing is just so hard.
But, mostly, I haven't been crying as much, and smiling more.
We had a beautiful snow last night and woke up to a gorgeous morning scene and fresh winter air:
He was on a harness and leash when he was outside, but he did wander out onto the outside of the balcony and I guess he tried to turn around, and fell, into the deep snow.
Maybe I can name him Sleepy, because that's what he's done most of the day. He can be a Sweety, but I wouldn't want to call him that. I've been trying out Maurice a little bit.
