Good morning!
AMPS 115 shooting 1.75u
I set my alarm and got up at 1:00 am +5 to test Boomer fearing he might go too low by +6. He was 72, so still up from his +3 fuds. No need to feed at that time so I went btb knowing I would probably be up in another hour. I went back to sleep and woke at 2:05. I waited for it....but he didn't call me. And I was just about to get up
to make sure everything was ok and I took another look in his bed and he had snuck in and was having his bath. YAY. Boomer finished most of his overnight fuds; he left a wee bit in +6 and +9.
Yesterday (both cycles) I gave him chicken pate at +6 and ff at +9 to see if it made any difference in his levels. But I don't think yesterday was a good test of it. I'm doing the same thing today. He does seem to lose duration right after +6 and the ff is my main suspect as being the cause but we'll see.
Allen ate well overnight. Giving butter right after his pills is working well and he's no longer drooling for a half hour afterwards

Our rain yesterday changed to snow in the evening but there wasn't much of it; only a dusting. Freezing drizzle is expected today so we will do some work around home...we are trying to organize our basement and we're painting the floor; it's a multi day process thanks to the amount of junk we have. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny so it may be time for a trip to the park where the Horned Owls nest each year....it's close to the time when they start nesting.
I've lost track as to which photos I've shared here
so hopefully this one isn't a repeat. This is a Red-Bellied Woodpecker. Normally they're seen climbing up tree trunks so this is a bit of an unusual pose for them but definitely allows one to see why they are called "red-bellied" instead of "red-headed".
