He went low yesterday...He ate his food well but slept a lot as well. I find that's part of the problem with him, he sleeps soundly for up to 2/3 hours straight then he gets up, he is super hungry (especially when he is low) and eats up a lot at once. I let him do his thing last night as if I wasn't here and it happened again. This is the only pattern I see when it comes to his numbers.
Back to bed I go...
 
Will he eat your mc or hc these days? We have to figure out how to prevent those lows and he’s not making that easy.
 
Last night he didn't want to eat much. I had mc out only. He ended up eating a little and went low. Today, I watched on the camera, and from 5 am feeding, he ate at 12 pm and 2 pm. That's it, both times medium c, but I also had lc out. Tonight he keeps going to the bowl, only mc is out.
I am giving up to be honest. He does whatever he wants. If I mix mc and lc or lc and hc, he will not eat it. The food has to have only 1 flavour or he walks away. Nothing to do with nausea. He is just stubborn.
I am trying my best.

Sorry only mc is out tonight. That's what he is eating. I tested and he is 9.6 at +3
 
You are doing EVERYTHING possible! I am at a loss as to how to help him. I think you are correct that he’s going too long without food but you can’t do anything to change that. He is just incredibly difficult. I’ll see if anyone else has an idea or two I haven’t thought of yet. Meanwhile all you can do is keep him on 1.25 or take him down to 1.0. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am at a loss too, this is so hard. I wish he'd cooperate. He is the most loving and sweet cat but he is driving me bonkers right now. Nothing works.
Thank you for all your help, I wish I could see improvement and could proudly tell you he responds well to everything. The only thing I see is that he is not drinking almost ever, and he put on quite a bit of weight, he is almost as heavy as Ash (who is a vacuum cleaner when it comes to eating. Whatever I give him, he eats it).
 
He is 13.4 pounds. At his lowest he was 12. At his highest he was 19 :oops:
Ash is 14.5.
At +4, he is 97 and he has been eating every hour tonight, steady, his med carb. He just had some now.
