WCR: All is good with Blackie.

I've been awake again since 2:30 this morning, after going to bed at 10. I thought I was tired enough to sleep through the night, but I guess not. I just laid there, mentally telling Daisy to let the medicine work on her, and to fight whatever's ailing her. I mentally told her that she's a very strong little girl, and she can do this. I know she can.

I will update Daisy's condo when I have more news to share. I'm really hoping that the medicine worked overnight, and helped to clear her intestines, and such. When she called to let us know that she had done that, the medicine hadn't worked at that point, and she was going to give her another dose before she left.

The vet's office opens at 7:30, which it is now. This is going to be a hard wait for that call.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.​

I'm happy to hear you at least got a little sleep, better than none at all.. We're all waiting right along with you Angela for some positive news this morning. Continued Prayers that Daisy responds well to this. ;-) :YMHUG:

I'm trying to read up on, and learn gastroparesis. The more I'm learning, the more I'm beginning to think that this may be the problem. I'm also trying to squish the negative aspect of this whole thing. Trying to think positively here... Think positive... Think positive...

Thank you, Amy. Unfortunately, I was indisposed when the vet called at 8:07 a.m. this morning. I called back, and left a message for her to return my call. As of right now, I'm writing down whatever questions that I may have to ask her. I hope that I don't forget anything.

I haven't eaten breakfast yet, and am currently sipping water. My stomach's in a huge, huge knot right now. I wouldn't recommend this as a weight loss program. I may have a piece of toast shortly. Probably the only thing I may be able to keep down right now.
