Last night, I syringe fed about a total of 1/4 can of MaxCal. He did eat good during the day I think, because I left a lot of food out and most of it was gone when I came home from work mid-day. He had that perfect poo and then that not so perfect poo.
This morning, he licked some FF Chunky Turkey, and then ate a little bit of Great Choice Sardines, Shrimp & Crab (which I was saving for a day like today, I thought he would like it more). I syringed some more MaxCal this morning, and then found him eating some YAZC that I had added a little EVO dry to.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but could you please send some more feel better and better appetite vines to J.D.?

Off to tbp, and hope I can run home mid-day to check on him.

J.D please eat for mommy today. I hope he gets to feeling better today. Could be this terrible cold weather. I know you take them for walks in the morning, maybe he is missing his walks.

Everyone called in sick in my little department, so my boss allowed me to go home and get J.D. to cover the late night shift. He is here. Ate a bit of food.
Now, the person that is supposed to work the late shift says she's coming in. I'm not really sure when I'll be home, but I did bring all of J.D.'s stuff including insulin with me.

Oh my gosh, that isn't good news that you are having to work to cover all them right now, on top of the stress :? , and then after going to get J.D. one says they will come in...! Hopefully J.D. is eating a bit more for you.

Wow Dyana interesting day. You had to pack up J.D. and all the equipment. At least J.D. is with you since you.. I am glad he ate a little bit. Is he walking around at all or resting?

He is walking around sometimes, and laying sometimes. Just cat things. He had to go check out my bosses office when we first got here. He used to go into my (old) boss' office and go in there. Luckily he did not go in there, this time, if you get my drift.

Back to work.

That is a good sign he is doing his normal cat routine and checking things out. we don't want any presents.

Sending lots and lots of vines to JD. How nice that you can bring him in to work so you don't have to worry about how he's doing without you. Those are some good, consistent numbers, after yesterday's slide. I can see why you gave a BCS this am.

Yo, J.D., holding out for the good stuffs? Eat your fuds, dude. I'm feeling for ya, getting dragged all over. No more dragging around for me, but I always feeled better after finally eating even when I feeled MIZERABLES! I'm sending one of each of the zillion cans the bean has to buy because we are all so fussy. I hope you likes one of dems. With tuna shavings on the top. Feel better soon, dude.

J.D. was so good. He kept all the stinky prezzies in until he got in the privacy of the car. Then he farted big time :oops: . I checked the carrier and he hadn't gone yet. On the way home, we stopped for gas(oline) and then stopped at another store. He had made a perfect poo by the time we stopped at the store and it was stinky and the store had a trash bin outside, so I was able to dispose of the pee pad.
He went right to the food bowl when we got home and then quickly went to the litter box.
He ate some, but not a lot. I just syringed some MaxCal with the Ultimate Flora probiotic and he just did diarrhea on the pee pad in front of the litter box.

The girl at work that called out and then came to work said to me when she saw J.D. "What a fat cat! Does he weight 40 pounds? I thought my cat was fat!" Does she not see his back bone and hip bones sticking out?

Lisa, it's so nice to see you :YMHUG: Just this evening I counted the cans of cat food in the refrigerator and there were nine open cans and 2 jars of baby food. I take the leftovers to work and put it out by the dumpster. Some cat, or skunk or raccoon or opposum gets a good meal.

Off to bed, for us.
I hope he lets me sleep :)
