That is such good news! Fingers crossed for a quick recovery. :bighug:
Has the vet prescribe bupe for a few days for the pain? Any antbiotics needed?

Yes on both. He's getting lots of cuddles and doing his normal stuff. However, he is still sensitive if I try and scratch his jaw, so I'll keep him on bupe for a little longer and hope the antibiotics help.

I have an event tomorrow where my family is really needing me to leave an hour before normal shot time. I hadn't realized travel time would be so long. I'm going to shoot a half hour early tonight. I'm concerned that if I shoot another half hour early in the AM he will go too low. I'm going to be out of town for about 6 hours. I know I've dealt with such things in the past, but my brain fog is pretty bad and I can't locate the sticky or post I've used for reference.

I don't know how tonights cycle will go, but tomorrow AM, what are my options for a safe day?

So you need to shoot an hour earlier tomorrow morning and will be gone for 6 hours after the AM shot?

I was looking for info on changing schedule, but I think that would be too much for me to think through at this point. I shot an 1/2 hour early tonight and need to shoot another 1/2 hour early tomorrow AM and yes, will be gone for about 6 hours. Tonight at PM +2 he wasn't interested in eating more and I didn't end up testing until now. Of course he's green. I'm debating on feeding MC or HC now. Thoughts? @Bandit's Mom

Is it this info post: Getting back on a 12/12 shot schedule
Yes! That's the one I was thinking of. Thanks much!

Considering that drop, you could do HC. What is your HC %?
ETA: Just realized it is +4 and not +2. Just LC or even LC with some MC might be enough.
I wasn't sure which to go with so Max got a few bites of 15% MC and the rest went to my other kiddos. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle tomorrow morning. I'm thinking of maybe giving a reduced dosage. I know I'm going to be nervous enough as it is and it's going to be a stressful day.
