D’oh. Already gave him a bit of LC… I need to pay attention to how quickly he drops and base food choices on that.. or post here and wait .. in my head I think above 50, feed a bit of LC.. will learn from this!

So I just gave him a little HC and picked him up and shook him to mix it in his belly… joking of course :p .. I think that should work though.. doesn’t necessarily have to be mixed together before consumption
 
Yup, what matters is not the just the absolute number but also how fast he is dropping and what point in the cycle you are in. Gus really picks up speed in the second half of the cycle (lucky you!)
While 176 to 130 was a drop, it was not a huge one in 2 hours, but 130 to 83 in an hour was a dive. It's good you tested at +7 rather than wait for +8.

Glad I checked too.. he kinda made me.. He was screaming for food and that made me suspicious.. usually he’s low or high when he does that.

Gus would probably let me do it, he’s a pretty chill dude… Ruby on the other hand, I wouldn’t want to even try it. She doesn’t love to be picked up much… she’s a little bowling ball and kinda awkward to hold. But get this… she’s a gem with nail clipping.. I put her on my lap like she’s sitting like a little human and clip clip - Gus is a two person operation.

68 @ +10… I was able to distract him for the hour, no food. What to do? He’s hungry and Ruby is starting me down for food so I can’t feed her and not him. The question is HC, MC or LC?
